Technology Support Services

Mission

Technology Support Services is dedicated to empowering academic success through seamless technological solutions. We strive to provide excellent, prompt, and effective support to students, faculty, and staff, ensuring a reliable and innovative computing environment. With a focus on user-centric service, our mission is to cultivate a collaborative and responsive IT community, fostering an environment where technology enhances the learning and working experience. By anticipating needs, solving challenges, and embracing emerging technologies, we aim to be the catalyst for a dynamic and forward-thinking educational landscape.

Service Offerings

  • Technical Support – Provide technical support to all students, faculty, and staff for all college-offered information technology services and college-issued hardware.
  • Student Support – Provide basic support to students for student-owned computers and devices connected to the campus network or used for the completion of their coursework.
  • Computer Configuration and Deployment – Maintain the computer “images” for all college-issued computers, classroom systems, and computer labs.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) – Provide technical system support for the learning management system.
  • Software Licensing – Maintain software licenses for site-licensed software. Assist with purchase of new instructional software to meet the pedagogical needs of the faculty.
  • User Service Advocacy – Advocate on behalf of the user community in technology planning to ensure efficiency of support and that the needs of the user are met.
  • Technology Consulting – Assist faculty and staff with hardware purchases and replacement, ensuring appropriate hardware is assigned and replaced at regular intervals.
